Scott McGuigan :: Photographer

Scott began in photography in Hamilton, Ontario, back in the late '90s. After receiving a formal education in Photography around "The Fall of Film", and navigating various facets of the industry in London, Ontario throughout "The Zeroes", Scott eventually decided to bring his talents to Our Nation's Capital, in 2007. After beginning his career in Ottawa as an assistant, and later 2nd photographer at Headlight Innovative Imagery, Scott is now lead photographer at Solid Gold Studio and continues to freelance and pursue personal artistic endeavors.

With many influences and experiences to draw from, Scott has developed quite a diverse and versatile skill-set. Creative portraits, fashion, and commercial still-life are his main forte, coupled with a love of food & drink photography, live music, and travel documentary. Blending his unique sense of creativity and keen eye with a natural set presence and tasteful approach, Scott ensures a successful shoot and your satisfaction every time.

Scott's images have been published internationally, he is a nationally published fashion photographer, and he has worked on the production of 9 cookbooks to date. Occasionally, his Images on Canvas will appear on various walls in the Ottawa region.
